Storm damage assessment, from the pole to the FEMA filing.
Silver Creek Services builds Storm Assessment — the field reporting app utility and restoration crews use to record damage where they find it, and the dashboard their dispatchers run the restoration from. Backed by fifteen years of distribution design and GIS work for electric utilities and cooperatives.
Live on the App Store · iPhone · Android in development
The app is the business now.
Storm Assessment is live on the App Store. Crews file damage reports with GPS, severity, photos and dictated notes; the reports queue when there is no signal and land on the dispatcher's map the moment there is. Your own poles come in from your GIS, and every storm comes back out as a PDF, a shapefile, and a damage inventory in FEMA's Public Assistance field structure.
Works with no service
Reports queue on the device and send themselves when coverage returns. Nothing is lost and nothing is re-entered.
Reads your GIS
Pull poles from a live Esri feature service, or upload a shapefile. Your system of record stays your system of record.
The filing is already written
Close a storm event and the documentation a FEMA claim is built from comes out with it.
Fifteen years of the work that produced it.
Distribution design, GIS consulting and field data collection for electric utilities, cooperatives and contractors across Virginia. Available on its own when you need a design set, a data migration, or crews in the field.
